The North County Food Bank's Food 4 Kids Backpack Program provides weekend backpacks of food to elementary school children living in poverty. These students receive free school meals during the week but face hunger at home over the weekend.

Monetary donations received by the Food Bank will be used to purchase food items for the program. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The North County Food Bank is a chapter of the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank which is a 501(c)(3) organization. Tax I.D. number: 20-4374795.
